Little Genius Club believes teachers and staff need to care for, teach and train the children placed in their care. In order to have such a standard – Little Genius Club promises to comply with minimum standards at all times.

Each staff member receives the following training:

• Developmental Stages of Children
• Positive Guidance and Discipline in Children
• Supervision and Safety Practices in the Care of Children
• Age-Appropriate Activities for Children
• Fostering Children’s Self Esteem
• Positive Interaction with Children
• Preventing the Spread of Communicable Disease
• Recognizing and Preventing Shaken Baby Syndrome and SIDS
• Understanding Early Childhood Brain Development
• CPR and First Aid Certified

Each staff member undergoes the following:

• CPS and DFPS Background Check
• TB Skin Test
• FBI Fingerprinted
